NigeriaGas turbine fuel gas pretreatment
Natural gas pretreatment & pressure regulating station for a gas turbine power plant, Nigeria — 420,000 Nm³/h
Fuel gas conditioning for a power plant with ten GE 9E heavy-duty gas turbines — impurity removal and pressure stabilisation at 420,000 Nm³/h.

Operating conditions
| Location | Nigeria |
|---|---|
| Flow rate | 420,000 Nm³/h |
| Application | Power plant GE gas turbines (10 units × 9E) |
| Inlet pressure | 5 MPa |
| Outlet pressure | 1.9–3.1 MPa |
| Solution | Natural gas pre-treatment station |
| Project type | Turnkey equipment supply |
Scope of supply
- Multi-stage filtration and separation of solids and condensate
- Multi-stage pressure regulation from 5 MPa to 1.9–3.1 MPa under load variation
- Balanced gas distribution to the 10 turbines
- Slam shut valves, pressure relief devices and monitoring
- Skid-mounted modular design
Project notes
Gas turbines are sensitive to contamination in the fuel supply: dust, water and pipeline impurities can damage fuel nozzles and reduce combustion efficiency, so the station filters first and regulates second.
